The extraordinary journey of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, which began in 1963 with just 20 regimental schools, has transformed into a vast network of 1,289 Kendriya Vidyalayas, illuminating the nation with the light of exceptional education.

The Challenge for every Kendriya Vidyalaya lies in carving a niche for itself as a unique and vibrant centre of educational excellence while staying true to the ethos of the organization. This touch of individual character arises from its commitment to innovation and educational opportunities it offers at school and beyond. In pursuance of our commitment to bring all-round development in the students which we asserted in the mission statement, we are striving to inculcate in our students an appreciation for innovation, awareness of environmental issues. We nurture the young minds to assimilate values like patriotism, tolerance and acceptance. I am glad that we receive appreciation from the parent community for our effort to build a green KV with saplings gifted by students on their birthday, the meaningful interaction we have had with parents at Parent – Teacher meetings, the restriction on use of polythene bags in and around the school campus, and insistence on clean uniform and well-groomed presentation of students at school. Our success in achieving our objectives lies in the concerted efforts of teachers, students and their parents. We hope to receive continued patronage from all the quarters.
